Health insurance in the US is pure mafia. The “rack rate” is set ridiculously high and makes no sense at all. I was charged $12,000 (I don’t have health insurance because I don’t want to comply with a mafia-like offer) for a procedure that took just two hours and cost a maximum of $500, assuming the doctor is paid $200 per hour. Basically, the insurance mafia punishes you for not being their loyal customer, generating them guaranteed income. And the corrupt government supports this scam. Americans are under mafia control yet still think they’re all about freedom. It’s hard to find more delusional people. Americans have been enslaved and have zero moral authority to teach others about freedom. It’s the absolute essence of delusional thinking.
