Interesting. This is the second time I've seen zeuspay on Nostr this morning. Any initial thoughts?
100 sats fees? Now I know why Zeus is pushing this. Lol
Don't think that's why they are pushing hard they are first to give a nice mobile self custody lightning address. Fees probably can be explained as costs on their end. Not sure how viable this will be for first time users just trying to collect some Nostr zaps though. Regardless its cool and will follow to see how it evolves.
I fail to see how this is better or cheaper than running your own node
I built my own node with nostr:npub1txwy7guqkrq6ngvtwft7zp70nekcknudagrvrryy2wxnz8ljk2xqz0yt4x ministry of nodes guide. Got a lightning address via Btcpayserver but I'm going be honest the avg newbie we on board to Nostr to receive zaps isn't going want to go through all that. The fees on this don't make it an ideal option for people accepting small amount of zaps as a first experience on Nostr as it stands. We will see how it plays out and changes moving forward. Making things easy and self custodial on lightning via mobile does not seem like an easy problem to solve. Especially when you want to be able to accept payments without being online. Moving in the right direction though. Appreciate those working on it.
