the drought in the summer made this tougher then it had to be but clover and bermuda grass is finally showing up

Exactly, I want to mow, have bees, and not put anything in there that can make it into the food we grow

We started a raised bed garden this year. Got some strawberries, jalepenos, peppers, cilantro and parsley. Been a fun experiment
