i had basically abandoned all social media between about 2019 and 2021 at which point i strayed onto twitter for what reason, i forget, and was magnetically attracted to bitcoin twitter with guys like Cory Klippsten debunking scams - at the time i had just had massive revelations about the sheer amount of manipulation going on in my own life and seeing it stretch out to the horizon

by chance as i was idling while living in sarajevo, after deciding varna was too close to ukraine, i met someone who wanted me to put together an anonymity network protocol that he called indranet - and while this was going on nostr emerged and i kept hearing about it on bitcoin twitter and eventually i made the jump, and have no intention to ever go back

despite all the marketing, twitter got even worse with musk in charge anyway, it really has been no option if i wanted to retain any semblance of a reasonable social network user experience

here on nostr i've got a lot of followers for my salty, obscure ramblings, i'm not up the top of the ladder but i don't really aspire to that anyway, my bigger mission is making sure this Ark is ready to take all the passengers that are called to board
