Windows 11 is disgusting. I’ve spent hours running weird programs to _remove_ retarded stuff (ads, tracking, spyware) from the OS so that it becomes usable. Then more hours into making it work as a decent work environment which incidentally relies on making it work like Linux (podman, a decent terminal, text editors, runtimes, compilers…).
It almost seems amateur compared to the experience you get from Plasma or Gnome out of the box.
Strange some people get that kind of shit on first install, I didn't get that kind of stuff on my install which is even more weird v: btw I could use both OS without any issues. So maybe you doing something sketchy
Windows is just for gaming, anything else is better on Linux

every fckin time I want to do something with the windows 11 pc of my girlfriend (like torrenting some pirated films or edit some documents) every time I stuck hours on the pc trying to understand why this disgusting OS doesnt want me to do things. Why nothing works whats the problem the firewall?? I explicitely tell you to allow me to use the ports for torrebting why you dont work jeesus its ridicoulous I can do what computation I want on my linux machine, I stuck like a retarded on that windows pc where nothing works the way it should
