HeatBit:

2 colors $800 for gray and $1000 for black.

Per unit you get 10 TH/s.

Filters are extra and are additional expense.

If you wanted 60 TH/s, you need to spend $4,800 on heat bit in silver, plus cost of filters (hundreds/per year) or just buy one $900 Ipollo that gives you 60 TH/s and no filter requirement.

I know it’s good to create businesses on #Bitcoin, but there has to be some consideration for value as well.

If the cost is too high, the value is lost and it becomes gimmicky……

Buying a HeatBit is LARPing.

Totally agree. Free market will decide. But I get 14 TH with a $100 S9. There’s ways to make them quiet, too. I dunno, I think that either you mine because you want to mine, in which case you don’t want a plug and play gimmick. You want a miner looking miner, and to learn and set up and tinker. Or, you want to make money, in which case you’re not going to buy a HeatBit. Just don’t see where the HeatBit fits in imo.
