I would definitely ditch pixel phones and android if GrapheneOS had it's OS on OEM phones.

That's coming. When they do, that would be the recommended device.

are we talking a year or two? or more than that? the indigo pixel looks fine, but i'd delay my upgrade to wait for your release

Providing everything works out then within the next year or two. This is meant to be a next generation device.
