Basically, I've been thinking how agency, independence, free will, and relationships fit together
How do you find the right balance when you have to maintain your individuality and yet be part of a relationship?
How do togetherness and free will work in tandem?

Have the free will and maturity to understand that compromise is negotiating.
Decide for yourself what your willing to give up (temporarily) for the benifit of both. And recognise when it's not being reciprocated and call it out.
Tune such things to match the energy and personality of your partner.
Ok I'll be serious for a second, only a second though.
Perhaps if someone is going to hook up with someone else, maybe they should look for someone who is like themselves, it'll save alot of drama...
