This is not a bad idea, but corruption doesn't reside in politicians alone.

Citizens WANT politicians to act like criminals:

- Steal my neighbor's money for me.

- Take away my neighbor's rights.

- Send my neighbor to die for a foreign nation.

- Mandate my neighbor to wear masks and take jabs that don't work.

- (the list of crimes is endless)

So you can't want your politician to be a criminal FOR YOU and not be corrupt FOR HIMSELF.

I'll take a yearly vote to confirm (or revoke) my consent to be ruled by the government. You know, like "rule with the consent of the governed"?

PS I've never given that consent. Nor will I if asked.
