Just reminded myself by playing table football with friends of how much of a sore loser I am and always have been.

Should I be okay with losing?

Is it something to “solve” or to use as leverage instead?

Failure is a wake up call when you did something wrong, but should not be a hard thing if you did your best

You have to be okay with losing it will allow growth in yourself. And showing good sportsmanship show your opponent your humility and how humble you are.

My opinion, you’re operating under the wrong frame of reference. Zoom out. Life is just a series of games and you’ll never win them all. And honestly, most of the times you won’t ever know if you “won” or “lost” at something. You shouldn’t be “okay with losing” but you should be familiar with it and know how to recover. It’s not about preventing losing it’s about when you do (because it will happen) how do you respond? Do it with grace. Constantly striving to be better is part of how you live a wonderful and fulfilling life. But for something like table football, zoom out and realize you may have lost the game but by playing with friends (that you all hopefully love and care for each other) you can reframe it as winning.
