I gave them my strike baking details but the transfer bounced. I didn't try again after that, I'll have to get in contact with strike as to why that happened.

it might be, that transfers to your strike account are only allowed from bank accounts in your name? maybe nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle can clarify

Seems that is no longer the case starting December 10.
