Picked up a bushel of peaches from the local orchard. They were seconds, so the whole thing was under $40.

For those who are new to orchard teminology, a bushel is about 54 lbs, and seconds are slightly imperfect looking fruit sold at a discount.

If you are canning or dehydrating, it's great and IMO it's fine to eat fresh, bake in a pie or do anything else with for that matter. It's hard to even tell what's wrong with most of them!

Yes, they are fabulous. Just wash them, slice them in half, and if you want to make it easier to get them off the rack, put them cut side facing up.
