I grew up in the 80's. We were told fat was bad. Carbs were good. And for a period of time eggs were bad. Teflon pans were a technological advancement.

Today's breakfast is eggs fried in lard (from our farm raised hogs) in a cast iron skillet.

Keep learning.

Question everything.

Eat real food.

Same here. We butcher twice a year and render for cooking and barter with neighbors. Telling everyone we know to stop with the seed and vegetable oils. Our kids have been raised on lard and tallow.

Thank you for sharing!!

Farm raised is the best. Hard work, but more than worth it.
