No you’re not. Hashags are fine and helpful when they are relevant and limited to 1-3. Some people put 10 hashtags that are not even related to their note just to increase their visibility. It’s lame. Best to stick to a few relevant ones.

Me … as a person who often keyword tags. When is it right vs wrong to tag? Or broadly asking …What is considered hashing spam?

The challenge is that we've got a normal word hashtag like "food" and then you've got those who will add "str" to everything like "foodstr". I haven't decided yet whether to take the side of legacy language or protocol culture so I end up doubling up nearly every hashtag.
