I understand how I can verify the holdings of the wallet on the blockchain. But how do I know that the wallet in question is controlled by Bitwise? #asknostr

You don't unless they can sign a message using the private key associated with it.

So in order for Bitwise to be audited correctly they would sign an agreed upon message with the auditor using the private key associated?
