This was one of my favorite songs many years ago:
Fantastic. Growing up in Nashville, I had the opportunity to see Béla Fleck (and the Flecktones) numerous times as they were coming up. Such immense talent.
I can’t imagine how many people you were able to see growing up there.
For some years when i was younger there was a big bluegrass festival nearby once a year that would last for days. The shows were great, but the amazing thing to do was to walk through the hotel it was held in. Almost all of the artists would stay in the hotel and there were spontaneous jam sessions on almost every floor. If you were courageous enough, you could jam with some of the best musicians in then world in a hotel hallway by the ice machine.
