I love the concept, but the execution has too many points of failure. It’s no substitute for running your own node, at least at this stage.

100% agree. for example, freedom one has been pretty unreliable. there’s a fine line between “gateway issues” and a rug. and for that reason, I’m out
I got rugged for 1000 sats on the first day I used it, sending over Lightning from eNuts to Odin Federation. They eventually got removed from the public list for being unreliable. My sats never returned as they were supposed to. I don’t know why.
I still want nostr:npub1uq70uqgas9pyhds2zt57kr9se8rg3s68ztphjnq82ts8rzeknmeql7u0c2 to work, but it needs to be flawless, because it is intended to serve an underbaked population who can’t afford to lose even relatively small amounts to random unexplained glitches.
