Qatar's Akram Afif and Japan's Kiko Seike have been named the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) Player of the Year for 2024. Afif won the award for the second time, following his instrumental performances in Qatar's successful defense of their Asian Cup title on home soil earlier this year. Seike, meanwhile, secured the women's title after leading her team to victory in the Asian Women's Club Championship and Japanese domestic league.
