All I know is that it's been around for a long while and I haven't seen it be used in any serious, profitable way. Just people messing around, which is fine and good fun, but not worth the hype.
I use it for nostr zaps cuz I'm not gunna manage lifting liquidity just for a couple of thousand zaps
