Its definitely an optimistic meme! I had been convinced of practically every conceivable theological position at some point as a protestant, and while I look back and cringe sometimes at past theological positions, I know I was always truly seeking Christ and desiring to please Him. Thus, when I see someone in a theological position i use to hold, I see myself in that person and have a special place in my heart for them lol. So I'm not a universalist, but I know that the Spirit blows where it wishes.
