i actually went down the path to the left, it goes along the side of the cliff down to the lower part of ponta delgada

yeah, it's so fresh, really... so much epic boulders just on the surface everywhere, hardly any soil or flat ground
they call flat ground areas "achada" - it's a common part of place names on the island because pretty much that's where all the houses are, and everything else is ridiculously steep and ribbly
