let us begin with this exposition:

first of all, Palantir, as a company was invented in the year 2003. I have posited numerous times that the iPhone was actually designed and manufactured as a cute lil surveillance device, though the whole of Silicon Valley and the intelligence community will deny this, save for one Edward Snowden.

Palantir is ultimately an extension of the NSA, and the NSA has existed for long before smart phones and laptops. its domain is and has always been cryptography, which we all know to be the foundational origins of modern encryption – you know, the thing which purportedly scrambles data enough for hackers and mortal enemies of the state to have a difficult, but not impossible time, *decrypting* that data.

one might say that the entirety of Silicon Valley was founded for the sake of creating the Ultimate Surveillance State, but it was Musk whose part in this has always been a question, since he's not in the same domain as, say, Peter Thiel or the Google bros.

Musk has always been focused on the shiny dream of Mars Colonization, which is a fine thing in and of itself, but somehow has taken a turn for the worst: it has become a political crusade on behalf of his transhumanist religious beliefs, which he quite literally can't seem to let go of, even if his friends are showing signs of having their own "come to Jesus" moments.

but this isn't about his disbelief in Jesus, and I would reckon that it's not even about Mars; it's about how he became far more connected to the Israeli "Deep State" than we might want to imagine, and how his privilege in this domain has led him to believe that he can exercise his will over anyone and anything, whether it causes a cascade of death and destruction or not.

it doesn't matter to him whether the victims of his God-complex Crusades are American, for he believes himself to be the Ultimate American, though he is not; and according to our own rules, he can't ever be the President, which means he just might resent anyone who actually can.
