there's a lot of technical people who really don't know anything, they are like robots, they are extremely irritating to have conversations with because they don't actually know how to think

I always try to question myself, as I'm just a Linux enthusiast. But sometimes I meet one of those experts using a googled android, Instagram and an umbrel node. I prefer graphene, nostr, and raspibolt.

i prefer not to have a phone but too many businesses anchor you to them, couriers and banks specifically the worst offenders, so i have a 3 year old phone, and i wish i could just throw it away

and i'm renting a vps in romania for vpn and as a web redirector and now a lightning node hosting service from alby

i have a mini pc with a UPS but it's annoying to organise a proper network failover for it and i mainly have it for testing my servers in development

i hate phones, did i mention that? hate them

even if they ran arch linux i still wouldn't be that interested

i don't like wireless networks either

i am very suspicious of radio network tech industry covering up actual science about the health effects of constant immersion in low level microwave radiation

Interesting, I use WiFi but lowering the radio power, openwrt is amazing with this feature.

As you mentioned Arch, why? Do you consider it more secure than other distros like Debian?
