I don’t know if this is intentional on nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 or just something happening on my end, but I LOVE that I can’t see how many followers I have unless I decide to load them. 🙏 It’s nice to be able to see them if I choose to, but it’s really nice for it to not be flashed in my face because at the end of the day, follower count means nothing 🏆

Everyday I fall more in love with #Nostr and all of the clients here, as well as all of you plebs 🫂

I’m fairly sure it’s intentional, for a couple reasons. One being followers isn’t an exact measurement because of the ways relays work. So it’s kind of an estimate after I’d queries your relay lists.

There is a technical reason, but I also don’t like knowing my follower count. It’s fake-able and spammy anyways. It’s the interactions that matter.

100% if it were for me, that’s something that should be hidden in some far away corner.

The amount of followers in social media is part of our western social credit score.
