How do you feel about solo games?

If I do get some table time it's more likely to be used to play test one of my own games, or to learn a game so I can teach it at my next games meet up. The idea of setting up a game just to play it by myself feels wrong, somehow. If I have time to myself, I'd rather read a book. There are sooo many books!

I play lots of games solo whether made for solo or not (two handed). I made several solo variants. I played Dark Tomb solo last night while watching 2010: The Year We Make Contact. But, I also read a lot of books. So it all fits in my free time.
