There's a chasm between a flawless global feed and a global feed that just doesn't have any CSAM in it.

Cute false binary.

I was implying that’s what Matt expected by a “flawless” global feed. He thinks every single relay operator should adhere to an ethics standard.

Nice try.

Nostr relays will NEVER achieve a unanimous ethics standard. Maybe clients could get nearly perfect automated detection and censorship with diligent development.

I'm confused. So is your position that a Nostr global feed that doesn't host CP should be considered a flawless global feed? Does the impossibility of a unanimous ethics standard have anything to do with whether relays will avoid hosting CP? When you claim that a unanimous ethics standard is impossible, are you trying to say that there will always be a relay operator who believes that hosting CP is a-okay?
