I’ve been thinking on your question for 4 days now.

I think the text book is a great idea. I’m strangely on a college campus a fair amount because of work and might just have to pick up at economics 101 type of book.

The why is harder to pinpoint… I think I’m just trying to make sense of something I didn’t grow up with and have a hard time holding on to.

I’ve read countless money books targeted at the regular consumer - but most of those books don’t say anything meaningful and I want more. I feel like I’ve been wasting my time.

Yea, econ is like a deeper understanding imo, and all those other books are tools to use if you want, but using tools without understanding why is like cutting wood with a saw when you don't know what you're building...or something...I dunno - I'm tired!

Feel free to holla if you wana talk about any of it. Been so long for me I could probs freshen up...but I have a lot of adjacent education and practice as well, perhaps why I haven't been compelled to review.

Thank you 🪐 I will reach out. I have more ideas for sure.

Got myself on a college campus and bought a Macroeconomics textbook. 📘

Yaaazz..pretty sure I adopted a mostly Keynesian way of thinking for quite a while. perhaps not the best for me....but I certainly prefer it to mentalities of no economic understanding. Look forward to hearing what you find interesting/dull.
