Ok I had to google what you said lol
A tech savvy friend wanted me to start a profile on this relay to see if we could chat inter relay after he introduced me to Nostr
But I imagined something like twitter but it looks like it can serve as a crypto wallet as well? do transactions have the same benefits as encrypted communication does?
As soon as I heard Nostr I said there should be a relay named Damus… lo and behold, it already existed lol so I want to learn.
I guess, a zap is a transaction more than a message. It can hold image links and private messages if you want. a lightning wallet is a fast bitcoin wallet.
So if I’m not using it for bitcoin its still a method to use the transaction mechanic for messages and media? And the image link is a url or a file?
