Not sure it needs to be split with relays or even how it would work as most use multiple relays. I do think splitting would be exciting though.

Nostr is the future of selling, I know right now it looks like a twitter clone but it is a growing marketplace with zero censorship, no centralization, etc.

Imagine if I could split and sell my merch via Nostr right now. I could have a payment come for my merch, the shipping partner, the printer and I all paid our share instantly.

Link that to some small type of reserve escrow account for refunds and you really have a game changer to commerce. Zero accounting, even if I want to play ball and report the revenue I only need to report mine. I didn't pay the other parties the customer did.

Now thing of the apps that could build on this!

#[2] just had a poll asking what the next feature should be on Amethyst (He's the author), and the winner is the marketplace feature. Payment splitting is probably not part of the NIP, but you might want to mention it to him since it looks like he's about to do the first implementation.

Now I think about it, payment splitting for products might be more appropriate under bolt12, where the routing is specified in the invoice rather in the marketplace. I highly doubt the seller wants the splits to be known by the buyer.
