Maybe it was a mistake to speak English on a Japanese server. If it's a server that says it's for Japan or is mainly for Japan, would it be acceptable?

The norm seems to be that you can definitely respond in English ( whenever I've asked a question, mostly Japanese users respond in English though the app does auto-translate Japanese to English for me)
