GM it’s NFL gameday and these old hits are fucking wild. Do you think these should still be legal? The league was so different not too long ago 🏈☀️

I'd leave it up to the players for the ultimate decision and #GM Fren 🌞 have an amazing day today https://youtu.be/wqCz3-v3PHA
Certainly entertaining.
But, probably for the best that players avoid these shots.
Shoutout Derwin tho.
I agree it’s probably for the best but let them take some shots as long as they’re not defenseless.
100% agree. Football is a violent sport. That’s a lot of what makes it entertaining. Also, intentional helmet to helmet contact should be illegal. I think they got that right.
Ray Lewis makes a good point when tackling. Sometimes you need to make a tackle that way
I miss those hits, but I get why they outlawed them. Think QBs should still be able to get hit, and they need to throw flags only in the most extreme circumstances. They overcorrected, should go 75 percent of the way back to how it was.
I'd agree with Chris's points here.
I agree for the most part. I think having healthier players in the NFL is always a good thing because I remember watching some horrendous lineups out there because the starters were all hurt lol
I personally mostly think of head injury. As someone who has dealt with a number of concussions I understand the long-term damage it can cause.
I don't really care how crazy a body hit may be, but I can appreciate the head protection all though I'm quick to admit the game got too soft for awhile with overprotection of certain players.
It’s somewhat unavoidable. I remember when they started penalizing hits to the head, players started hitting low and destroying player’s knees. And now we have issues with the hip drop tackles. It’ll get better though.
They seem to fluctuate before they get it right. I think QBs who try to milk a few extra yards by the sideline should get smacked though. A couple times defenders would pull back to avoid a penalty and then Mahomes would truck them.
Spot on. Mahomes has the mind of a lawyer constantly seeing how far he can bend and use rules to his advantage. Smart dude for doing so and still incredibly skilled, but it's bad for the game.
The opinion of a hall of famer is also valuable I think. There’s definitely nuance.
