Reality is a wave .. when you go down the trough it feels fast .. when we climb the crest ..it feels slow :-)
I know exactly what you mean!
What grounds me is my children aging. it depicts time flowing in physical form from their growth and development. it's rather eery.
At a certain point it does not fluctuate. It's always too fast
