In ww2 several concrete piers out, the Mulberry Harbours. Part of one still sits in Langstone harbour to this day.

Building these piers was possible back then, why can't they get it right now?

FIAT HAS ROTTED SKILLED LABOR

Why would 'they' want it to be permanent?

Some World War I and World War II retaining walls in our country by the roads are still in place, and they were made without concrete. Just carefully carved stones stacked one on top of the other. It has been almost a hundred years, and they are still standing strong.

But when you look at modern concrete retaining walls built since the beginning of our independence 30 years ago, they are all cracked and look like they will fall to pieces at any moment.

Capitalism can't survive with things that last; it's that simple.
