I've been reminded that our accounts are permanent, so it would be against my style to leave it dead. I'll just take some break. Nostr is great, I'm simply tired of the constant buzz of information everywhere around my thoughts.

Yup. No drama, I'm just deep inside hater of modern technology and find it unnecessarily life confuming. It's like returning a book. I never understood people hanging on their account like it was life. Business aside, of course.
Accounts are effectively permanent, only your access to it can be lost. Take a break but don't burn your key, you may want to come back to the same account in the future.
