I guarantee you we’d see low to no support for nonmonetary use cases. It’s only a thing because people don’t have clear to understand options.
Yup. The (UX) switching costs are inflating the drama.
And this is what they are trying to remove.
With the OP_RETURN change, they are trying to remove the option to set s limit completely, instead of not limiting it by default.
