Been wondering about the same sort of thing. I have an attachment on my multi tool called a power edger I can rip lines in soil and I am been innoculating the lawns manually with a watering can and or char after. But of course it would be ideal to do it all in one go. There is some stuff called hyperdrive (Blue sky biochar sells it) which is made from castor oil which apparently is able to liquify and break up the the biochar!

I will have to import so I haven't got a chance to try it out yet. Been trying to reverse engineer the effect with caster oil but no luck yet!

I’m looking for small versions of seed drills and yeoman’s plows that could be used in a residential/small acreage scenario. Not much luck except for the Vogt air injection system which is cool. Still need a seed drill but can’t find a non-farm version.

Yeah there are definitely gaps in the market for stuff like this. The power edger slits but the rotary motion makes it unworkable for the normal yoeman shape. I guess the power might be an issue with ploughing but I would have thought a small yeomans for a ride on mower could work well. Someone told me about that air injection thing and didn't know the brand thanks for that! Perhaps the ancient Chinese seed drill is a place to start they didn't have tractors back then!
