Or at least some sort of better implementation that doesn't have you paying rent for your domain names. So you don't have your balls in a vice whenever you try to transfer a domain name or something.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but it's just so goddamn asinine. I was trying to transfer a single domain for one client. It took three weeks to actually get the fucking registration code through days and days of me going back to support and yelling at them for not doing what they said they were doing.
I have another client that probably has about 20 domains that need to be transferred to their new account. And each code I'm requesting for each one of these 20-some-odd domains, they say it's going to take up to three days to get the code for each domain.
Now, granted, a good web host will just give you your transfer code immediately and does not make you wait. That's why we're moving away from these shitty Registerers.. But the fact that this is even a thing that has to happen and you have to wait with some web hosts is just total bullshit.
Not to mention the problem of if your domain is considered to be problematic. Then like you said, they'll just fucking pull the domain. You won't have access to it. And fuck you if you try to argue.
