Softwar readings are an exception 🤙

It's funny, I was actually looking at Librevox to put the finished audiobook, but they only accept public domain works.
Mm, probably allergic to copyright lawsuits from the dead poets society.
Need something like what nostree.me was, but for audiobooks - Nostrible or something like that, running on blossoms. Long time ago I was using nostree for list of epubs with the direct links to download but the lists interop was quite fucked up between apps so it was gone once ot twice (from nostree that is), before personal relay notes backup era. Now when overall stable, a user list like that 30003 or bookmarks or whatever, could go between nostr apps and playable wherever.
To be honest I may just slap a bot with media links from blossoms on kind 1s and just use a client to play or nostr-rss to pull it to a podcast app.
Honestly, I need to link up nostr-rss with a blossom server to make a Nostr native feed for softwar if I can.
Just a separate npub for the audiobook. Some clients already upload directly to blossoms so you can use that or you can run a script to upload the chapters simultaniously to different blossoms and the links from that go in notes. Then it goes njump.me/npub.rss or you can run self-hosted nostr-rss or something, for any reader that supports mp3 or whatever the format. I am quite annoyed with antennapod that does not support m3u8 so I can watch zap.stream there 🤣 but the link still good to open in browser. Same for any media from rss incapable of open in app.
Not entirely nostr but combined with rss works. I got it modified to fetch live events and flarepubs and yakihonne videos along with the media in kind 1s. Relays though return up to a certain events so you may have to republish from time to time.
The rss app becomes like pokey if notifications on 🤣
