Serious question:

When purchasing anything and the cashier or waiter asks if you’d like your receipt?

How many of you take it or just leave it?

I can’t remember the last time I kept or needed a receipt. I feel like it’s gotta be a dying thing no?

Yes, I always say no unless it is a big purchase.

Why with a big purchase?

Even with big items, you can use a credit card statement or debit card statement to issue a refund. Is it just a mental thing where you feel you “need it” for the “incase” moment? I’d say I would take a receipt as well for a big ticket item. But I think it’s part of the mind game.

Say yes, even if it's a small purchase. Because these days, only secret shoppers ask for receipts, so they tend to treat you better.

Interesting. I’ll test it out
