Almost want to ditch contact lists and just use negentropy to sync follow and unfollow events. Then you could have a contact list of any size

Probably a bad idea but there is a limit on note sizes and its causing a lot of confusion once people start following 3000+ people and their contact list no longer syncs
You don’t think 3000 works as kind of a natural limit anyway? I like the idea of encouraging curation this way.
