Moving from one corrupt government to another corrupt government might be better temporarily but it is not better.
History shows in time, maybe years or in the coming generations, what seems better can turn dangerous and or oppressive fast under any authoritarian regime.
Under fiat currency those closest to the money printer: banks, corporations and government capture industry and progress. Through corrupt incentives they destroy society with their power and influence on governance/regulation.
The only differences in the US from outright communist countries (essentially the rest of the world) are some degrading individual freedoms/rights and property rights. The US has had the same communist pillar: central banking as Russia and the rest of the world for decades and it shows in the degradation of individual liberties, freedoms and society.
Communism's greatest tool is to distort the truth. What better way than to hide the fact that it's even communism?

A sad part of this is it reminds me of people changing political parties. Just moving from one captured group to another. All part of the same corrupt government.
