For decades people have been trying to build an ecash solution that catches on. Turns out you can achieve a lot more if you build on top of Bitcoin as an open monetary system that allows permissionless innovation. Imagine building Cashu on top of fiat banks. Useless friction at every single step in the process. So glad we have Bitcoin.
