Perhaps stupid question:
Why don't the big investors on Nostr consider starting a thousand relays scattered all over the world, obviously impervious to any government shutdown request?

No financial return is expected, it would be a legacy for the Nostr community, with the name of the magnanimous investor carved into the digital travertine of each relay ;)
