Kraken sending out emails wanting to know if I self custody? and if I don’t, they want to know the residential address of whom I’m sending #bitcoin to 🤔

Yeah I agree, I certainly don’t want the government knowing that I self custody, my first thought is to just ditch kraken as one of my onramps but will all exchanges eventually bend the knee to government regulation and require us to confirm if we self custody or not? if that’s the case then buying bitcoin will become more difficult, I would also like to know what precautions/alternatives there are?
They will have to if they are companies, I think.
