Industrial mining farms could technically in theory be abolished right now of every home ran one.
The future will probably offer miners/nodes on appliances as a factory option.
We'll go further, eith tech advancements the heat energy could be recirculated to help power the appliance itself.

Vehicles, electric or gas. Electric is self explanatory, but I can totally see myself engineering a belt driven (gasoline engine) Bitcoin miner. Maybe even cooling it with coolant, and using that to heat the car. Lol. But I'm like that
