Meh.

I do, but I move stuff after.

Yeah, it is easy to do. But, I see it as, you are signing a contract with your government. Once in contract with them, they see you as having given up your rights. Thus, they will further believe they can do whatever they want with you. So to avoid all that future headache, just don't KYC now.

Welp, how else am I gonna stack sats at the rate I have determined I need to? Turning fiat into sats at a rate that is both good and convenient is really only possible with KYC, at this time.

No, I don't want to jump through hoops with the conversion.

Yes, I realize that I am going for convenience over ultimate privacy.

Eventually, I won't, but for now? The least amount of friction and time involved with that, the better.

Yes, this makes sense. The convenience and rate is a selling point.

Have you tried Robotsats or Bisq2? They are such good pieces of software and now they are becoming more convenient. You can place as many orders as you want through out the day.

No. They still require too much hoop jumping in the conversion process. They are much better than other options, and if I ever stop DDCAing, I'd consider them.

I don't want to spend time converting fist to sats every day. I'm more inclined to use them for larger, more infrequent purchases, but that's not how I acquire sats at this time.

Okay, got ya.

the truth most people don’t talk about… where most of their sats come from. (*coughKYC*)

But then no one wants to talk about how you can just make them disappear, too.

Cold wallets and self custody are not crazy hard to do. 🤷‍♂️

Nevertheless, you as an individual still support KYC platforms. You support the concept of KYC. Every purchase, every voucher is also a vote, and so you vote "yes" to KYC every time you purchase KYC coins, regardless of whether you put your coins through the whirlpool again afterwards.

I hope I've made it clear what I'm getting at.

Yup. Very.

Show me a way to daily, automatically convert fiat to sats without KYC. As far as I know, there isn't. So, I'm doing what I can with the best that I can to ensure my future financially.

I'm not letting the perfect be the enemy of good enough.

Bravo to you if you can stack all the sats you want without KYC. I, currently, cannot. Or, more accurately, will not. I, however, cannot live without fiat yet. I get paid in fiat, I buy what I need in fiat, I pay my bills in fiat. I'm already in the system and more than most since I was even dumb enough to have joined the military. None of that is going to change suddenly. I'm digging out of that very deep hole one sat at a time, and if there's a better way for me to do so that meets my criteria, I will do so.
