So my friend said he booted up his laptop without wifi on and found that it had screen sharing turned on from some multi player app that had been put on his laptop. Then windows he felt were spoofs for him to enter his apple id popped up. He thinks that there is some fake network that has control of his devices. As if the TV was connecting a network to the laptop thru the game app.

The issue is that he didn't. A malicious network was created via bluetooth TV in hotel that caused his phone to connect to it. Once they added his phone to the "game" they spoofed the screen.
