For about THB 900 (around 29 USD), you can enjoy first-class service on a Nakhonchaiair bus. The journey from Chiang Mai to Bangkok takes roughly nine hours. While flying is faster, I prefer the comfort of this bus—it’s a relaxing change of pace after busy travels. The seats are very comfortable, and the onboard service is excellent, complete with snacks and meals included in the fare. I highly recommend trying Nakhonchaiair when traveling through Thailand.
