I understand what you mean. I had to buy a new battery for the wife’s car yesterday. Same store, same part number… more than double the price.
Bought a solid 20 year old trailer with some minor issues ( busted lights, hard to turn jack, etc ) for the price you could almost get a new trailer for seven years ago. Glad we found it but damn its hard to stomach prices on some things.
