exactly, all the physical buttons and the small sounds booting up etc, that got you giddy to start playing/listening/watching

imagine a nostr desktop client designed for old computers, only sold as limited edition and signed floppy disks

I found an older set of wired earbuds and they had a physics volume and mic toggle sliders and it just felt nice to move them around instead of picking up phone and tapping.

tactile touch goes unnoticed a lot

the ‘silent’ button for iPhone is still here for a reason

Ser you are too young for physical buttons and toggles

grew up watching VHS and listening to cassette tapes, that my parents recorded during the soviet radio shows

👀

What a boomer!

never used DOS or any floppy disks though 💜

You mean you never did this?

I’ve used a computer with Windows 95, that didn’t have any internet, but I’ve never inserted or installed a floppy before

😂

Brings back memories.
